I've just tried to install the plugin for Firefox 3.5.4 (Linux) but
the installation fails with

Firefox could not install the file at

ftp://ftp.tcl.tk/pub/tcl/plugin/tclplugin31-linux-glibc2.3-ix86.xpi

because: Install script not found
-204

According to the Mozilla site this error occurs when the install
script is not signed. The plugin site refers to error -202 but not
-204. Has anyone had and overcome this problem?

The installation is broken for some time now. At least on Windows it
is possible to make it work by copying the necessary dll files into
the plugin folder. Maybe it is the same for linux. Haven't tried yet.

I just tried:
URL: http://www.tcl.tk/software/plugin/

Download XPI (64-bit x86_64) (autodetected) or
ftp://ftp.tcl.tk/pub/tcl/plugin/tclplugin31-linux-glibc2.3-x86_64.xpi

cd /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/

unzip /tmp/tclplugin31-linux-glibc2.3-x86_64.xpi

Restart firefox

URL: about:plugins
-> Tcl Plugin 3.1.0
File name: libnptcl3.1.so
Tcl Plugin 3.1.0 (3.1.0). Executes tclets found in Web pages. See
the Tcl Plugin home page for more details.
