From: Jason T on 6 Jan 2010 13:45 I am finding an annoyance in using Outlook 2010 beta in that it is always on top of other applications. If I, for example, open a specific message in Outlook it will pop up behind Outlook, causing me to to minimize Outlook and find the message. Is this a "feature" which I can turn off or a bug?
From: Diane Poremsky [MVP] on 6 Jan 2010 16:05 It's a bug and is limited to just you. :) Are you using any add-ins? Because LinkedIn is known to cause this and as do other add-ins when used over VPN (again, older versions of outlook), I'd look at addins. Try starting outlook in safe mode to see if it works ok. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM Poll: What version of Outlook do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=27072 "Jason T" <JasonT(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:6BE90B51-AEDA-4C42-966A-D6D9AEAD3318(a)microsoft.com... > I am finding an annoyance in using Outlook 2010 beta in that it is always > on > top of other applications.
