I want a backup of my software programs or DVD movies in case the orginal gets unusable or lost. I download public domain movies and want to burn them to DVD for viewing on a laptop. Yes, it is. Throwback to floppies, a RW or Write only, either way takes a little more preparation. If you build with any amount of software, USB flashdrives are still too new for that aspect. About to the point where it would be hard to find a MB without an optical provision to boot in the BIOS, anyway. |
