I don't use this product but someone brought this to my attention &
thought I'd pass it along here:

It looks like a-squared Free is still available but they've started to
hide it (more). Take a look at the listing here
<http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/download/>.

You can still get v4.5 via the download button there but, everywhere
else, it takes you back to talk of Emsisoft's anti-malware.

Its not disappearing, it is just changing name. (A message from Emisoft,
not too long ago. No cause for panic.)

It's not unusual for a software company to make its free versions
difficult to find. AVG used to be a real PITA in that regard. You could
*not* get to the free version from avg.com or grisoft.com -- you had to
go to avg-free.com (or something like that) to find it.
