I now realise that the Pricelessware Cult are a bunch of misfits and groupies trying to make a fast buck at the expense of freeware program authors. Bugher only needed to herd them like the sheep they are and become queen of an empire. The great mistake I made was not to spot how smart the dissenters are and our program of denigration, forgery and malicious slime against them failed miserably. I generally ignore stuff from the ACF cult because they just love to stir up dirt. I would have missed it if your reply hadn't quoted the original. ACF gets bashed for the usual reasons ... large newsgroups don't listen, become arrogant and dominant, and try to steer the Usenet in the direction most suitable to itself, regardless of its readers. Errors on the PLWH website have caused me to quote a wrong URL to another poster. Essentially, the issue here under debate is how much confidence should one have in Bugher and her band of misfits who are trying to make a financial profit from a newgroup. -hb- (the REAL hummingbird) -- "All truth passes through three stages. Hello liszt, When Susan and the Pricelessware Cult were asked to stop dominating ACF with Pricelessware website business, she issued a 'call to arms' to her followers to throw their toys out of their prams to fight the dissenters and drive them off the group. All hell broke lose. John Stubbings and myself were then paid and instructed to rid the newsgroup of these troublesome dissenters so we could get back to the real business of $Pricelessware$. We embarked upon a mass campaign of forgery, mass sockpuppetry and posting of lies and slime to intimidate and drive them away. Unfortunately, it didn't work.
