Yep, I definitely did not want to believe the $1,300 part. Besides, those solid-state drives have a nasty short-life expectency, when it comes to the number of write cycles before failure. They are quiet, though, and much less subject to being damaged by heat from extensive hard use. Too bad about the limited write cycles before failure, that is why I would never buy one at the present time. Mark-
