From: Gary on 2 Apr 2010 17:12 I have two files which are instructions sheets for mini-dictating-machines. Each file consists of one large piece of paper, perhaps 24" wide x 16" high. The directions are in very small type. When I try to print the file, the results split up at inconvenient places such as in the middle of a column. I'd like to be able to split up the document into separate documents, so I can print them out at more convenient breaks. Does anyone know of a (hopefully) free program to do this? I own the full Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, and I've been looking for a plug-in, but I can't find a solution there, either.

I'm not aware of a free app to do what you want. When I've encountered similar documents that I wanted to separate into tiles, I used Illustrator (Photoshop will do the job as well, but it's slightly more cumbersome). -- Spenser |
