From: dimple76 on 14 Feb 2010 12:40 I would like to put music under my voice overs, but can't seem to figure out how to do it. Is there only one audio channel? I tried to put different audio onto the audio space for the video, but that didn't work. If I try to cut the audio portion off of the track, the video is also cut. Is there something that I am missing, or is this something that can't be done? Thanks.

You should have two tracks...Audio and Audio/Music. I'm guessing you have sound files in both your Audio and Audio/Music tracks? If you save the project in a movie format...and then reimport the saved movie file...you can drag it to the timeline and add another file to the now clear Audio/Music track. To save as a .wmv movie file... Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard / Choose...My Computer / Next / Enter a Name and a Save Location / Next / Tick...'Best Quality For My Computer' Next/ Wait while the movie is saved / Finish... To save as an .avi movie file... (and several other options) Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard / Choose...My Computer / Next / Enter a Name and a Save Location / Next / Show More Choices / Other Settings / Open the drop window and choose...DV-AVI / Next / Wait while the movie is saved / Finish... -- J.
