In exact mode: -(DB-(DC+D)) In approx mode: a symbolic representing the sum from A=B to C of the constant D (without texbook mode, it would looke like 'SUM(A=B,C,D)' Mathematically, they are both equal, and both correct. They just have different representations depending on the mode.
