From: Midwest Muskie on 24 Mar 2010 08:47 Steve, I came across this thread when researching how to remove a public folder store. I created a new root public folder and associated it with a new public folder store that I created. I was just wanting to do some testing. Now I cannot remove either the store or the root folder. When I try to "Move all replicas", there are no servers to select to move to. We are running Exchange 2003 SP2 with one front end server and two back end servers. All of the public folders on the back-end servers are currently being replicated to each other. I manually removed the system folders you recommended in this thread, but am still unable to remove the new public folder store. Any suggestions you may have would be most helpful. When you say that you created a new public folder store, you meant that you created a public folder database on another server -- one that had no public folder store before, right? Or did you select the "Folders" container and create a new Public Folder Tree? The two are quite different. There can be only one MAPI Public Folder Tree but it can have many databases (but only one database per server). The Non-MAPI Public Folder Tree can have several PF Trees, all on the same server, but there's no replication -- each one is on its own. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
