I have upgraded SharePoint 2.0 to 3.0 and that went successfully. Now I am
upgrading my Project Server 2003 to 2007. Installation goes well until I
have to run SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard. It
fails on Step 8 of 9. with the following 2 errors:

#1:
[SPWebTemplateSequence] [WARNING] [9/13/2009 3:48:19 PM]: Template PWA#0:
Failed to find onet.xml for 'PWA#0' template: tried 'C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server
Extensions\12\Template\SiteTemplates\PWA\xml\onet.xml'.
[SPWebTemplateSequence] [WARNING] [9/13/2009 3:48:19 PM]: Template PWA#0:
Failed to determine the target template version for the 'PWA#0' template,
assuming '0.0.0.0'.
[SPManager] [DEBUG] [9/13/2009 3:48:19 PM]: NeedsUpgrade [Project Workspace
- %LCID%1033 - %GTID%_GLOBAL_#6215 - %TMPLID%PWA#0


#2:
[SPManager] [DEBUG] [9/16/2009 3:02:49 PM]: SyncUpgradeTimerJob: Upgrade
timer job failed. Return -1.

#1 - I go to the directory of the file in question and it is there..... why
it can not find it, I do not know. - any help will be appreciated.

#2 - any help here will be appreciated as well.

I'm not really familiar with your scenario but inside that onet.xml is
there a line like <Configuration ID=”0″ Name=”PWA">? Perhaps it's
corrupted?
