Zimbabwe is a s---hole run by an insane tyrant. A perfect example (of
many) of why Africa can't progress. Rhodesia went from being one of
the better countries in Africa to being the North Korea of Africa.

Zimbabwe is worse than a shithole.
....and Mugabe isn't insane, he is a corrupt and incompetent dictator,
who has moved his country's wealth to his, and his wife's personal
off-shore accounts, mainly in Indonesia. He stays in power through his
corrupt political machine.
He has created a population of refugees who struggle everyday to reach
South Africa, Malawi, Mozambique (where it is easier to reach South
Africa) and Botswana.
Rhodesia used to be an exported of food to Africa and other parts of
the World. Today because of Mugabe policy they starve.
A beautiful country ruined.
If you want to see the Victoria Falls, go to Zambia, avoid Zimbabwe,
you will only be stuffing Mugabe's pocket and paying his cronies.

All of Africa is no better. In fact, the committee in charge of the Mo
Ibrahim Prize for African leadership could not even find anyone that
qualified for it this year. Sad state of affairs, but at least the
committee, unlike the Nobel committee, had the integrity not to award
the prize when they could not find anyone who qualified.
