From: C on 21 Jun 2010 20:49 Microsoft, please bring the solution to the customer. Don't tell us it is our fault or that the solution is out there if we have the time to go looking for it. Microsoft update should be able to install KB979906 without going through deleting and reinstalling items manually. I'm wondering if this goes beyond corruption of the underlying program and there is something viral that is designed to prevent the security patch from being applied to keep the vulnerability in place.
