I am getting the KDC Event ID 14 System error in the Windows 2003 DC:

While processing an AS request for target service krbtgt, the account McL
did not have a suitable key for generating a Kerberos ticket (the missing
key has an ID of 1). The requested etypes were 1. The accounts available
etypes were 23 -133 -128. Changing or resetting the password of McMastL
will generate a proper key.

User didn't see any error on his Windows XP when logging to the domain.
This happens to a few users. Othen than the suggested solution to change or
reset password, is there other way to resolve the issue without resetting
user password?
