Looking that "The Complete User's Guide"[0], no. Its search abilities
look to have a few extra features over zypper but they do seem to be
pretty close, at least in that area. I've not had a good look at the
rest of the manual so can't really compare it to zypper in any other
way.

I doubt it, but i would say give it a try and come back and give us your
feed back. If you do try it do a manual up date.
