From: Michael Weinberger Michael on 20 Oct 2009 14:25 When you render a report with a subreport, the subreport is having a kind of default KeepTogether = true, meaning that the subreport will leave the first page empty if its fits entirely in a new page. You can check this rendering the Ledger Card report (specific to my application) , check LC# 1 for example. I think this is related to KB938943, we have converted the solution to VS 2008 / SSRS 2008 to be able to change the KeepTogether, with no results so far. Also I have changed the properties of the tablix members using the advanced grouping options... with no luck either.
From: Ben Watts on 21 Oct 2009 10:34 I have had alot of these problems to, like with you earlier post regarding the repeatgroupheaders. I was able to read up and get that fixed, but this whole blank page before the subreport baffled me for days. I decided to go in and move everything one by one. I realized what was causing it was that I had a column inmy table holding the subreport that I had hidden. When I un hid it and just made it as small as I possibly could, the extra page went away. So very strange.
