I just did a full restore from a time-machine backup after replacing
my laptop disk which had started being flakey. All seems fine except
that iChat keeps asking me for my AOL login password each time it
starts. It seems that it is just ignoring the keychain all together
(for both reading and writing).

I have copied a version of iChat + all my iChat preferences from
another machine, but still get the same behaviour. I have run the
keychain first aid and still have the same problem and yes I do have
the box ticked in the iChat login that says " remember password in
keychain"

Running 10.6 .2.

Any ideas what to do.
