From: master1729 on 8 Aug 2010 13:35 i dont think there is a paradox : work with vectors : c > 1. going outward at c speed. going inward at c + 1 speed. result is absolute speed = c + 1 - c = 1. and the absolute speed does not violate the lightspeed barrier. the curvature of spacetime is so strong that an escape speed of c is not enough , hence you drop inward at a speed less than c. no paradox.
