From: Bill Bradshaw on 4 Mar 2010 13:15 I just saw a lot of discussion about this program. I now use a different password program but would like to try this. I see two versions - 1.17 and 2.09. Which one would you use considering I would want to keep the same database on a XP Pro SP3 desktop and a Windows 7 Pro Laptop? I like the idea of the portable but would that allow me to copy the database file from one computer to the other if they both had the same database password? I do not want to install on a USB device. -- <Bill> Brought to you from Anchorage, Alaska.

Using a keyfile, and Windows account. Obviously you would need the keyfile on both machines as well, and the Windows account I suspect would only work on domain connected machines, I guess, but I dunno for sure. -- zakAT(a)pooh.the.cat

I do not want to install on a USB device. The main difference is the 2.09 version requires .NET 2.0 or higher. If you don't have .NET installed on the XP desktop, you have to use 1.17 on that machine. Things have been a lot more quiet around Alaska since she went off to make money. -- <Bill> Brought to you from Anchorage, Alaska. sarah wrote: > On Thu, 4 Mar 2010 14:52:41 -0900, "Bill Bradshaw" <bradshaw(a)gci.net> > wrote: > >> I did not notice my typing error. > >> I did not notice my typing error. > >> Brought to you from Anchorage, Alaska. > > Looks like your beloved Sarah Palin will have her own tv reality show. > That gal loves the limelight.
