From: Dave Royal on 30 Dec 2009 03:26 Using OpenSUSE 11.0 with KDE3 Suspend to RAM works OK on this Lenovo R60e laptop. Usually I do it by right-clicking on the Kpowersave icon and selecting it. But occasionally both suspend options are greyed out. I can still suspend by selecting the 'log out' red button and using the pull-down menu under 'supend computer'. Suspend works OK. But when I use that method, and the machine is reawakened, I always get a message box that says 'suspend failed' which I have to OK. But it didn't fail. Not a big problem - it's always done it - but lately this 'greyed out' problem has become permanent which is a nuisance. Can anybody suggest what causes it.
