Is there a DVD medium > that is large enough for this? Dual Layer 8.5GB DVD RWs do exist but are very rare. I have yet to see them in stores. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD%2BRW_DL and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD-RW_DL I use DVD-RWs all the time - I wouldn't mind seeing these become more common! -- http://www.vatican.va

I have had very old drives that can't. :) movie dvds can be single or dual layer, and all dvd drives must be able to play them. the problem is probably + discs, which older drives might not be able to read, single or dual layer.

The big stores like Office Depot don't carry them. They are also expensive, a 10 pack of loose disks on a spindle is 70 NIS (about $20), which is more than a pack of 50 single layer ones on sale. It's fair to compare, because there are so many single layer brands and people selling them that there is always one brand at one store on sale. The last single layer ones (TEAC DVD-R) my wife bought were 65 NIS for a pack of 50 at Office Depot. She then saw the same thing at the supermarket for 49. Geoff. -- Geoffrey S.
