This is a free option on the system I am thinking of
getting for my son.

In order to get OS media with the system I am ordering
it with the XP downgrade --- which means XP will be installed
but we will get the Win 7 DVD.

If I get the Latitude On Reader, will it survive a clean install
of Win 7? If not, is it downloadable on the Dell site?
