From: cforkin on 18 Sep 2009 09:41 Hello, Are there any regular users of Lauterbachs Trace32 debugger (with a USB connection to the PC ) out there? I have just started using this tool a couple of weeks ago and then I changed user accounts on Windows XP and since then I have been getting the message "Target Power Fail" every time I try to load my PBL files. I am using the 2006 version, build 7034. I have tested with different Hardware and the message is the same. (I have tested the same HW on different machines and they work OK) When I press "Single Step" I get the message "target processor in reset". I tried re-installing and I had problems with the post-installation of installing the Plug an Play drivers, i.e. the Hardware wouldnt prompt me to insert the CD etc. , when I plugged in the USB. It did however give me the message that the drivers were already installed. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks in advance! --------------------------------------- This message was sent using the comp.arch.embedded web interface on http://www.EmbeddedRelated.com
From: cforkin on 18 Sep 2009 09:50 I just recently got hold of a second device. It turned out to be a problem with the hardware. >Hello, > >Are there any regular users of Lauterbachs Trace32 debugger (with a USB >connection to the PC ) out there? >I have just started using this tool a couple of weeks ago and then I >changed user accounts on Windows XP and since then I have been getting the >message >"Target Power Fail" every time I try to load my PBL files. >I am using the 2006 version, build 7034. >I have tested with different Hardware and the message is the same.
