From: CJB on 5 Jan 2010 16:40 There have been pushed at Paddington Station over the last few months. Has anyone used these services? Are they rip-offs? What are the connections like? What are the Customer Services like? Having just been ripped off £6 for a mere 20 minute call using a Three mobile to BT landline no. I am very leary of mobile charges. CJB.

I am very leary of mobile charges. CJB. Found these desparaging comments about Lyca: http://www.phonesreview.co.uk/2008/09/30/lycamobile-payg-sim-card-for-low-cost-domestic-and-international-calls/ Also tried to order two SIM cards but the website defeated me ... The page at https://lycamobileeshop.co.uk/web/WebFreeSimRegUK.aspx would not allow me to add my flat address correctly. My post code is XY3 5AB (not really) and this lists about 5 versions of: 311,High Street 311,High Street 311,High Street 311,High Street 311,High Street for a block of 36 flats!!! And the system insisted that I choose one of these - but not which one??? In fact none of these are correct. In a block of 36 flats it is essential to include the flat no. and the name of the block - for obvious reasons. But the form would not allow me to do that. This simple 'bug' with sales web site appears indicative of the Lycamobile service in general. Let's see what Lebara offers. CJB
