From: Paul E on 2 Mar 2010 16:48 I tried using Outlook as my email client on my desktop and linking that email address to my phone. The problem was that it downloaded the email to the phone and deleted it from Outlook. Can I configure so that the messages stay in Outlook as well as come to my phone?

How did you link to that e-mail address on your phone? Is it configured to sync with Outlook or did you configure POP3 settings in your phone? ActiveSync (I doubt you have Vista or Windows 7, so I am guessing ActiveSync) has settings to configure the behavior of how e-mail gets synchronized. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923005 - this is a video about activesync. What is it on your Outlook? IMAP does not download mail from the server and subsequently delete it in the way POP3 would. -- Leonid S.
