Rainer sort yourself out please. I think what Rainer tries to get across is that you cannot expect decent replies to what is, essentially, an insult. Maybe you're not reading comp.lang.lisp carefully enough. Maybe you're missing the fact that comp.lang.lisp is not the center of the Common Lisp universe. That's just two possible reasons. > Do folks have any experience in using Clozure on different platforms > (Sun OS, Linux and Mac OS X) interchangeably? Or are there quirks on > one platform unheard of on the other? Clozure Common Lisp is maintained by Clozure Associates, who provide consulting to ITA Software, among other companies, who in turn use Clozure Common Lisp as a basis for an airline reservation system which is one of the biggest Common Lisp projects ever attempted. I guess all involved parties are very interested in keeping the number of quirks to a minimum level as much as possible, no matter what platform. By the way, the main reason why they choose Common Lisp is because it sucks much less than all the other alternatives. That's probably just another thing you're missing... I will probably never like your contributions, Siegfried Gonzi, aka Frankenstein or Kloschssel (you really suck), but it is astonishing how you still feel forced to read comp.lang.lisp. > I browsed the Clozure projekt site and it seems to me this is a > fantastic project which would deserve to attract more attention. I wonder if Bigloo/Scheme people really deserve having you always on their radar. > Do folks have any experience in using Clozure on different platforms > (Sun OS, Linux and Mac OS X) interchangeably?
