From: Miha on 2 Apr 2010 09:42 Hi, On a HP desktop comptuer (running WinXP PRO) we have Epson-LQ printer connected via LPT port. When user restarts or shut-down computer the printer is displayed as not-connected and the only thing to get it working is to delete it and re-scan HW so that Windows installs it again. Have checked all settings, Windows are patched with latest defintiions, also no virus or spyware. Any ideas what is causing this problem and how to solve it? Thank you in advance, regards, Miha

Then it isn't going to work correctly because Epsom didn't produce any winxp drivers "Miha" <miha(a)positiva.si> wrote in message news:#UMph8h1KHA.776(a)TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > No, I has drivers from Windows XP. > > Rgrds,Miha > > "DL" <invalid(a)nowhere.com> wrote in message > news:OpLM3%23m0KHA.224(a)TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... >> Does you printer have winxp drivers available from Epson? >> >> >> "Miha" <miha(a)positiva.si> wrote in message >> news:u0WLVpm0KHA.6104(a)TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... >>> Hi, >>> >>> On a HP desktop comptuer (running WinXP PRO) we have Epson-LQ printer >>> connected via LPT port.
