Nobody will be able to do anything in that cell just read it "Jess" wrote: > Is there anyway to lock the content, format, and formula -separately or > jointly- of a given cell? If so, how

While content and formula are treated the same, you can format cells - protections, and uncheck the locked checkbox for specific cells. Then, goto to Tools-Protection-Protect sheet, you'll see various options that can control whether users can edit the format of the cells or not. Note: Under the cell format - protection tab, checking the "hidden" option will make it so that the formula is not visible when sheet is protected. -- Best Regards, Luke M "Jess" <Jess(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:DEC32AFC-17B8-495C-ACA8-8E6B03A4CBD8(a)microsoft.com... > Is there anyway to lock the content, format, and formula -separately or > jointly- of a given cell?
