I'll be running XP for the foreseeable future, but it's nice to know Vista will work if I want to go there some day. Can I ask you what processor you're running, and what BIOS? I'm planning on an Athlon64 x2 4600+, but I've just looked around on the Asus website and found that the processor is only supported by the 903 BIOS and some people are having trouble with that BIOS. I wonder if you have any experience with that combo? Any other thoughts on things to watch out for with this board? Thanks for any input you can give me. Asus website says it's Vista certified, MS website does not. Seems like a lot of folks are running Vista on it, but it apparently the board has trouble with some SATA optical drives. Anyway, I'll be running XP for the foreseeable future, so Vista is only a minor concern. Hopefully if I ever decide to go that way, they'll have the issues straightened out by then. Also the 903 BIOS has caused no issues either. Whenever I do a new system they always get flashed with the latest BIOS from Asus, and I have seen no issues, neither have my customers. I build anywhere from 1 to 5 of these per week and cant be happier with the product.

Being a newb at this, I have a certain amount of trepidation, and that sounds like a vote of confidence. John To e-mail me, use jcarlson631 at optonline dot net
