Hi!
I support an office with Windows and Mac client computers. Joining the
windows computers is a snap using 'connectcomputer'. I can connect the Mac's
to the SBS domain using instructions I found on smallbizserver.net, but this
results in a new Mac userid being created.

Does anyone know how I can either
(a) connect an already existing userid on the Mac to the SBS domain
(b) Migrate the settings from the old userid to the new (files; desktop
icons; preferences etc etc)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've not compared the documentation on smallbizserver.net to the information on joining Macs to SBS networks with the information provided by Eriq Neale, SBS MVP and author of SBS 2003 Unleashed and SBS 2008 Unleashed and is considered by most of us the go to guy for all things Mac related to SBS. You can probably find his books at either borders or barnes and noble or Amazon and see if there's an alternate suggestion there.
