As in a previous post "Mapi email problem" I too have been using the MAPI
email client through Outlook Express without issue under XP. However, while
the same program runs Vista, it returns an error number 48389 (which I can't
find any where) when it tries to email. It appears that the "Mail" app in
Vista is not compatible with MAPI server for Outlook express. Question, if I
switch to CDO and bypass the Outlook Express app entirely, will it then run
under Vista?
