MATLAB Mobile provides a lightweight MATLAB desktop for the iPhone that connects to MATLAB running on a computer. It provides command line access for MATLAB and any add-on product for which a user is licensed. To install, the licensed user downloads the free MATLAB Mobile app to their iPhone, and downloads and installs the free MATLAB Connector™ on their computer. MATLAB Mobile can be used wherever you have network access to the computer with your MATLAB installation. I just returned home from a conference to this news--wonderful. Installed, up and running without a hitch. Kudos to the team. For this conference I went iPad-solo and definitely could have used this yesterday to illustrate a point to a colleague. I had to settle for Wolfram-Alpha but couldn't get it to do what I was after. Now I have Matlab. Is there an ETA on an iPad optimized version? Regards, Ken Prager |
