From: Ron on 5 Mar 2010 07:54 Terabyte, the people who bring you some fine commercial imaging programs, have a lot of small freewares on their site. "MBRWork is a utility to perform some common and uncommon tasks to the MBR/EMBR sectors of a hard drive. It should only be used by power users who understand how computers work. The readme.txt file in the ZIP contains a list of the tasks available." MBRWork works to repair the associated sectors at the beginning of a drive. it's one of many free tools available from Terabyte. Good find for the toolkit, imho. Take a look at the other tools; might be something you like. http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/downloads-free-software.htm More discussion on how to use it here http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?t=60842 I bought my first cloning software from Terabyte years ago. They produce safe, reliable (if a little on the ubergeeky side) software. As always, ymmv. Ron Moore
