From: Becky on 30 Nov 2009 12:17 Hi I'm comletely new to using MatLab and know only the basics. I recently downloaded the MEATools for MatLab, but there seems to be a conflict of names with a couple of the files. I get the following on opening MatLab: "Warning: Function C:\Program Files\MATLAB\MEATools\assert.m has the same name as aMATLAB builtin. We suggest you rename the function to avoid a potential name conflict. Warning: Function C:\Program Files\MATLAB\MEATools\isglobal.m has the same name as a MATLAB builtin. We suggest you rename the function to avoid a potential name conflict. " I'm not feeling confident about renaming it, can anyone help me out? I looked up the help, but I'll be honest, it didn't help. I need 'MatLab for Dummies' right now! Thank you, Becky
From: Vini Gautam on 3 Dec 2009 06:33 Hi Becky, Its just today that i installed the same MEAtools as u mentioned about. But i didnt get any such statement in the Matlab command window that u get about assert. I would suggest u to install the MEAtools in C:\Program Files\MATLAB\toolboxes\MEATools (i.e. inside the toolbox folder). See if u still get it. Vini.
