Thanks for the reply wil try replacing the nic card. A question what about a
Brooktrout fax board? Colud that have the same effect?
I will be starting the hardware diagnostics ASAP. Please see my general

Guys;
I agree 100%... Hardware failure could be the reason. I think it is
board failure. Go for the jugular vein. Use a test disk. Do a clean
install of XP pro 64 or another 64 bit OS. And do basic burn in
testing. Note: the memory controllers are on the MB in the Chipset or
in the CPU.. so not the sticks could cause problems. And of course all
circuits flow through the MB anyway.
Good luck... but don't ruin your Server installation with repeated
crashes.
