Whoops - didn't realise there were PCIe G5s, sorry.

I'd be interested to know if it was compatible - I'd also guess not,
on the premise that the G5 card would presumably need to be
OpenFirmware-capable and might not wake up properly in an EFI machine.

And because Apple *really* like to ensure you spend three times too
much on your graphics cards. Rassen frassen frickin eedjits.

There were pretty limited graphics card options back then, oh wait...

As I found out recently some cards aren't even compatible between 1st
and 2nd gen Pros.
