My son has/had a 2Gb MacBook Pro - the 2Gb core due model. He has just
bought the 2.4 i5 MacBook Pro...

So, as I'm presently running a 1.67HD Powerbook with 4Gb ram and a 320Gb
HD, the MacBook is 1.5 Gb ram and 80 Gb HD. So, do I grab the MacBook or
sell both and buy something else?

If I keep the MacBook, how difficult is it to replace the HD? I'd like
to get at least 320 or so.

Which version - unibody or previous generation? Previous generation is
annoying (I did it recently), unibody is extremely easy.

Cheers,

First generation I think the core due model before the core2duo type.

According to Ifixit.com it doesn't seem any more onerous than the
Powerbook was.

It's the same, yes.

The new ones are, as you said, much simpler.
