My refurb MBP13" came with the straight-out style last week. Clearing
stock, I suppose.

Yes, first time I saw the 90� version was with the new unibody white
MacBooks. The straight out design has been in use for the last 3 years
now.

The MacBookPro we got about a month ago has a straight out magsafe
connector.

Or so I'd say, loooking at it.
