Hi:

A couple of odd problems happened with Mail.app, and I wonder if anyone can
shed any light. They're completely unrelated (I suspect):

1. A couple of times lately I've had a message appear in the mailbox, and
about ten seconds later it vanishes. It's not in the trash, or the junk
folder, or anywhere obvious. None of my spam filters (SpamEater on the server
side and SpamSieve on the client side) admit to having eaten it. Yesterday
there was even time to open and read the message before it vanished. It's an
IMAP account, so the problem could have originated at the server end, but I
can't think what is happening.

2. When I reply to a message a little curly arrow appears next to the message
title in the listing. Previously, when I clicked on this, it brought up a
window with the reply in. Today this no longer works. Again, any thoughts?
Have I accidentally turned off a setting somewhere?

Happens to mine occasionally too, but it generally comes back with a
restart of Mail. Or at some later date, for reasons unknown.
