From: Fredric Krauss on 9 Jun 2010 16:40 OS: XP with Service packs updated. I mainly use Iron Browser, but an article mentioned that IE is integrated into the kernel of XP. Granted,it is. I never use IE except occasionally to download the odd MS item such as updates, etc. QUESTION:being as how IE is a part of the XP kernel, not a peripheral, should i install IE 8 and apply every highest security setting, as a part of my XP security and privacy? Mind,i will hardly ever use it--is it needed for security? For privacy? ADVISE. Thanks. |
