I have identified the USPS zip-codes in one series of data points and then
our offices in another series. Is there a way to turn off the pinpoints for
the zip codes so that I can see the offices and then turn the zip codes back
on?

You might want to ask the folks in the mappoint group, instead of this
group for office(link below)
