WRI has yet to state how updates for HE will be handled.

If it's consistent with what we've seen elsewhere, then it happens the first
time you launch Mathematica after you reboot your computer, and never again
until the next reboot. That's another Snow Leopard-specific problem which we're
investigating.

Hi,

I just want to add, that there *are* people who don't have problems with
Snow Leopard. Maybe it is connected that I have a Mac where Snow Leopard
was installed per default. I haven't updated to Snow Leopard from the
previous OSX version.
