You can do this when you use the DEPLOYTOOL GUI to create the executable. The link below is MATLAB documentation on how this can be done: > > http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/toolbox/compiler/br5w5e9-16.html > > Look at the section that says "Distribute to End Users". This is the only legal way for you to obtain the MCR. Additionally, you have to use the same version of the MCR as the version of MATLAB Compiler you used to compile the executable. > > Hope this helps. > > Regards, > Dinesh Thanks Walter and Dinesh I am really supprised that it is not possible to download the Matlab Compiler Runtime on the mathworks homepage. I think it avoid many people from using matlab, that you cannot distribute exe-files generated in matlab to other computers without buying the Matlab compiler toolbox. Sometimes you get an exe-files from colleagues or download an exe-file in a forum on the internet, but you cannot run it. As I need the Matlab Compiler Runtime, I will buy the Matlab compiler toolbox. Does anybody know how much the compiler toolbox cost and is it one of the more expensive toolboxes? Best Regards Robin |
