Creating classes I looked up in the helpbrowser to learn how to create a new class, but I just found stuff about managing already existing classes. Then I found this: http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/techdoc/matlab_oop/brhzttf.html But it doesn't work. The command classdef is not recognized (doesn't go blue). Can s... 12 Jul 2010 10:41
Cross-tabulation with proportions? I've been bumbling around trying to learn Matlab, and am trying to compare data in a large vector with the next row in that vector (the possible values are integers, 1 to 8 inclusive). Specifically, I want to create a square matrix showing the probabilities of each value being followed by the next value. So far, my ... 11 Jul 2010 22:41
X axis Configuration problem Hi there. I've got a small problem on configuring the X-axis on the MatLab graphs. Currently, my data for the X-axis are in the power of -7 i.e. 0.05E-7 to 0.6E-7. I want the X-axis to show up Microns in for e.g. 0.05 to 0.6. I can use x-label to show that its in Microns but I have problem changing the val... 11 Jul 2010 18:11
Edit Text GUI I am trying to use an edit text box to input a file name so that I can then read the file in when I use a push button. geoshow plotm streamline Hi Matlab Users, I am trying to superimpose a streamline onto a map that already has matrix data projected with "geoshow". Nothing appears on the map after using geoshow. I also tried simply plotm(x,y) and no line appeared on the map with that command either. Any suggestions would be very appreciated! Thanks,... 13 Jul 2010 12:00
3rd differentiation for Cfit object I need to take the derivative of a Cfit object, but the command differentiate() only gives the 1st and the 2nd derivatives. I can take the derivative by converting the curve fitting formula to a symbolic function however it takes time to do it every time. Is there an easier way to do it? Thanks. Plotting Matlab figures on the Server Hi, I have written a Matlab code which takes the data from a huge text file and plots all the parameters with respect to time. I have created an exe file and executed it on the standalone PC. I am able to see all the plots. The runtime compiler is very well installed before executing the file. Same .exe file when I... 17 Jul 2010 23:51
