Colours are reserved and the output is more professional looking (akin to higher-end DSLR's) than cameras in the same price ballpark. But this seems to rub migrators from P&S's the wrong way, most of whom are used to the more vibrant (some would say garish) colours from the average P&S. I'm wondering if maybe Panasonic should have as a default when the camera is first started a strong colour JPEG mode so the less discerning types won't be upset?
