From: James Silverton on 22 Apr 2010 17:37 Hello All! I have MacAfee and did not notice any problems on my non-networked machine. The only unusual thing is that they downloaded *two* separate "updates" on Wednesday that I applied at 3PM and 7PM. -- James Silverton Potomac, Maryland Email, with obvious alterations: not.jim.silverton.at.verizon.not

Hi James: The second update was for DAT 5959 which addressed a False Positive of 'W32/Wecorl.a' detected in %windir%\system32\svchost.exe by DAT 5958. -- Dave http://www.claymania.com/removal-trojan-adware.html Multi-AV - http://www.pctipp.ch/downloads/dl/35905.asp

Thanks and thanks also to LD55CRA! I had a suspicion that the double update might be caused by that but, AFAICT, the first one did not screw up my machine and it seems we a back to one update a day. -- James Silverton Potomac, Maryland Email, with obvious alterations: not.jim.silverton.at.verizon.not

McAfee seems worried about this problem since I just got a message asking me to check for updates.
