From: jfain on 8 Mar 2010 15:00 We're using Exchange 2007 with a mixture of Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 clients. Recently several entries have shown up on Resource Room calendars with the meeting organizer showing in the subject line. Has anyone else seen this behavior? -- jfain http://forums.slipstick.com
From: Diane Poremsky [MVP] on 8 Mar 2010 15:05 It's how it works in Outlook 2007. It can't be disabled. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM How many email accounts are in your main Outlook profile? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=36602 "jfain" <jfain.47iu6a(a)invalid> wrote in message news:jfain.47iu6a(a)invalid... > > We're using Exchange 2007 with a mixture of Outlook 2003 and Outlook > 2007 clients. From: jfain on 8 Mar 2010 16:36 Found a solution to my own problem, so I'm posting the fix for others. This is really an Exchange issue. You need to turn off the DeleteSubject and AddOrganizertoSubject settings for the resource room. I used the following PowerShell command: set-mailboxcalendarsettings -identity meetingroom -deletesubject $false -addorganizertosubject $false http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124987(EXCHG.80).aspx -- jfain http://forums.slipstick.com
