I spoke with a guy today who was helpful in that he candidly admitted that no one knows what's going on. Specifically: 1. No one knows if current o2 PAYG customers will be allowed to have PAYG iPhone 4 from day 1. 2. No one knows if iPhone 4 bought from o2 will be locked to o2 or not. I phoned both o2 and Apple, and got the same response from knowledgable-sounding people: "We don't know; no one knows". MST
