From: JB on 20 Apr 2010 08:21 I have XP home on a Toshiba laptop My microphone sound is very low, I opened ControlPanel/Sounds/Audio/Audio Recording/Volume and something strange is happening: the slide is at the bottom; when I drag it up it goes down again slowly ON ITS OWN. When I try to see the Recording Control box from the icon near the clock and go into Options/Properties the only button available is the Reproduction and not the Recording. Any idea what could be wrong? Thank you JB
