From: Patrick Schmid [MVP] on 30 Nov 2006 00:37 I think I got confused between regular volume license downloads (that I have seen posts that they have Enterprise) and MSDN volume license downloads. From: Echo S on 30 Nov 2006 08:41 Well, it's quite possible -- even probable -- that there are other download venues available for volume license customers, though -- probably the only ones who have access to Enterprise version at this point. I'm thinking if the original poster really is using Enterprise version (and now that I look again, I'm guessing he is, based on the "Enterprise.WW" file the setup is looking for), he may have better luck getting help with installation issues via Microsoft Product Support, though. Only thing I'd know to try to resolve a problem with not finding a file is to create a CD based on the ISO image and see if you can find the file so you can point the installer to it (assuming you have an option to do so). But I'm sure there's a better way... -- Echo [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com What's new in PPT 2007? http://www.echosvoice.com/2007.htm Fixing PowerPoint Annoyances http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/powerpointannoy/ "Patrick Schmid [MVP]" <pdschmid(a)nospam.mvps.org> wrote in message news:eon6oGEFHHA.2452(a)TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... >I think I got confused between regular volume license downloads (that I >have seen posts that they have Enterprise) and MSDN volume license >downloads. > I think you are right > > Patrick Schmid [OneNote MVP] > -------------- > http://pschmid.net > *** > Office 2007 RTM Issues: http://pschmid.net/blog/2006/11/13/80 > Office 2007 Beta 2 Technical Refresh (B2TR): > http://pschmid.net/blog/2006/09/18/43 > *** > Customize Office 2007: http://pschmid.net/office2007/customize > OneNote 2007: http://pschmid.net/office2007/onenote > *** > Subscribe to my Office 2007 blog: http://pschmid.net/blog/feed > > "Echo S" <msnewsgroups(a)echosvoiceUGHSPAM.com> wrote in message > news:#b#al9CFHHA.3540(a)TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl: > >> "Patrick Schmid [MVP]" <pdschmid(a)nospam.mvps.org> wrote in message >> news:O1zzyECFHHA.3616(a)TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... >> >I think MSDN volume license customers have it. >> >> And I think they don't. >> >> -- >> Echo [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com >> What's new in PPT 2007? http://www.echosvoice.com/2007.htm >> Fixing PowerPoint Annoyances >> http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/powerpointannoy/ >
From: Bob Buckland ?:-) on 30 Nov 2006 23:55 Hi Hanford, You may want to download another image. This type of error *can* happen when extracting the files from the image, but it's more common if there is a very small glitch in the download. What version of Windows are you using and how are you mounting/installing/extracting the CD image from the ISO file? ========= <<"Hanford" <Hanford(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:EA51ABE5-0DB3-4D12-8DC0-BF83DDAB3B2F(a)microsoft.com...
